About Laneway Bank

Laneway Bank isn't a real bank. It's a working demonstration of what a bank's website measures, and what it does with what it learns.

A home loan application is one of the longest journeys anyone takes on a website. People start it, stop, compare rates somewhere else, come back a week later, and call someone halfway through. Each step leaves a trace.

Laneway Bank makes those traces visible. Every calculator run, every application stage and every message is sent to Amplitude for analysis and to Braze for engagement, and the event stream in the corner shows both as they happen.

Everything here is simulated. The rates are invented, the credit decisions are arithmetic, and the customers are personas. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere except those two tools, and no real account or loan is ever created.

About this mock

This is a static site with no server. The application in progress, submitted applications, the customer and browsing history all live in your browser's localStorage, and the session id is a cookie. Open the event stream at the bottom right to watch every Amplitude and Braze call as you click.
