Privacy Policy — FBI Radio (Unofficial)

This is an unofficial, fan-made app that streams FBI Radio (94.5 FM Sydney) on Android and Android Auto. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FBI Radio. This privacy policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

Data we collect

We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to diagnose errors. Specifically, we record:

• When playback starts or stops
• When the on-air show changes
• When the app is connected to Android Auto, including the version of the Android Auto app and (if Bluetooth permission is granted) the name of the connected Bluetooth audio device
• Stream errors, including an error code
• Standard app lifecycle events: app installs, updates, opens, and backgrounding

None of this data includes your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

Device permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Internet — to stream audio and fetch now-playing information
• Bluetooth — to detect the name of the connected car audio device for analytics purposes only. This is optional; the app functions normally if permission is denied.
• Notifications — to display a media playback notification while audio is playing

Third-party services

Analytics data is sent to Amplitude, a third-party analytics provider. You can read Amplitude's privacy policy at amplitude.com/privacy.

Audio is streamed directly from FBI Radio's servers. No audio data is stored or processed by this app.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained in accordance with Amplitude's standard data retention policies.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "last updated" date above.
